Why was decided to redesign the product interface?

Our users need an overview of the platform that captures the status of their surveys in the field as well as access to completed studies and dashboards.
The legacy interface didn't allow the user to achieve these capabilities.
The new interface allows the users to easily access the relevant report or survey and to organize their work so that the platform supports high productivity.
It also allows the user to easily find, access, and view the survey items. And also it enables presenting additional information and notifications while staying in the context of the relevant Item. Each survey item has an intuitive structure and a clear menu.

Let's dive into some detailed changes
An info pane

The Info pane can be opened and closed by clicking the “i” button.

It shows the additional info about the selected study.

Multiple tabs allow showing additional info without losing the context (for example, attachments).

In the future, we are planning to add new tabs presenting additional info about the selected study.
Pin to top capability

Users can pin the important surveys to the top of the workspace.

Pinned items could be easily “unpinned” by selecting the pinning button.
Advanced search capability
Items can be searched/filtered by multiple parameters.
New layout variation: a list view
Users can easily switch to a List View layout (the default layout is a Grid).
